ReSolutLy (Resilient Solutions Laboratory) is a nonprofit think tank that uses anticipatory intelligence to create and share frameworks for social impact solutions — frameworks that address root causes, account for cultural factors, and build resilience — with the organizations working hardest to create change.
We work with the organizations and decision-makers driving social impact around the world.
Intelligence analysis typically focuses on security issues — but it's just as valuable in a humanitarian and social impact context. Traditional intelligence work, built around tracking actors and threats, can't provide everything aid organizations need to create meaningful, long-term social impact. Anticipatory intelligence — a systems-thinking, multidisciplinary approach — is the tool aid organizations need to design local solutions that address root causes and build resilience in the communities they serve.
Utah alone is home to more than 10,000 registered nonprofits, with over 200 new ones formed in 2024.1 Using anticipatory intelligence, ReSolutLy gives these organizations — and others like them around the world — what they need to ask the right questions, tackle the right problems, and put their resources where they'll matter most.

From what we bring to the table to the change it creates — here's how a ReSolutLy engagement moves through the system.
On-the-ground research and ethnography is a standard part of every cultural and systems analysis we conduct, with each report focused on a specific geographic area.
Every report includes contacts for subject-matter experts who can help implement the proposed solutions, with an emphasis on local businesses and organizations.
The work is funded through a mix of grants, donations, and commissioned research — built to last well beyond any single funding source.
Our clients span the world — governments, individual decision-makers, government agencies, nonprofits, NGOs, and international organizations.
ReSolutLy offers jobs to recent graduates, giving them a platform to transform their research and ideas into actual change.
We're happy to talk through what an anticipatory intelligence engagement could look like for your work.
